Mission

Protect Our People is a community network committed to the advancement of Indiana’s LGBTIQ+ residents of all intersecting identities. Our mission is to provide low-barrier access to mutual aid and resources for the most vulnerable of our People, as well as advocacy to secure a more just future for Queer and gender-expansive residents of Indiana.

Vision

We seek to create a state with our fellow Hoosiers where all residents are treated and viewed as equals without prejudice, malice, derision, fear, or denial of access to opportunity no matter who they are. When that is not being realized, we come together to help where we can to support one another however is necessary.
